Sump Pump Drainage System Installation in Deer Park, IL

Sump Pump Discharge Installation

Attach an air gap to the existing sump pump discharge at the existing exit elbow.
Install a 4-inch PVC elbow to redirect the discharge approximately 3 feet toward the southwest corner of the home.
Install a second 4-inch PVC elbow to continue the drainage line approximately 5 feet toward the window well.
Install a third 4-inch PVC elbow to extend the line an additional 5 feet away from the home and shrub line.
Install a fourth 4-inch PVC elbow to transition into the underground drainage piping.
Install approximately 20 feet of solid 4-inch PVC pipe.
Connect approximately 10 feet of perforated 4-inch PVC pipe.
Terminate the system with a 4-inch T-fitting.
Install a grate over the T-fitting.
Surround the discharge area with gravel to promote proper water drainage and dispersal.
