Patio Installation and Bluestone Stepper Pathway Project in Northbrook

• Unilock Brussels Block Patio Installation
• The existing concrete and organic material were removed to make way for a new 15′ x 11′ Unilock Brussels Block patio accented with a Hollandstone Premier soldier course border.

Work completed included:

• Removal of existing concrete and organic material.
• Excavation to the proper depth.
• Installation of approximately 9 inches of compacted stone base.
• Compaction in multiple lifts for long-term stability.
• Installation of bedding sand.
• Installation of Unilock Brussels Block pavers.
• Construction of a Hollandstone Premier soldier course border.
• Installation of polymeric joint sand.
• Creation of a durable and attractive outdoor living space.
• Base Preparation and Foundation Construction

• Natural Bluestone Stepper Installation
• To create a seamless transition between outdoor areas, approximately 12 natural bluestone steppers were installed throughout the lawn.

Improvements included:

• Installation of approximately 12 natural bluestone stepping stones.
• Connection between separate outdoor living areas.
• Improved accessibility throughout the backyard.
• Enhanced visual appeal and landscape flow.
• Natural stone accents that complement the paver patio.
