Our Evanston, IL project included a complete backyard rebuild featuring new concrete foundations, bluestone patios, a natural stone fireplace, and a full outdoor kitchen installation. The crew started by removing the old patio and grading the area for proper drainage before forming and pouring new concrete pads and footings. Custom Bluestone Natural Cleft Select Blue was installed in an Ashlar pattern for the patios and walkways, while Lannon stone was used for the fireplace veneer and wall caps. The outdoor kitchen was built with stone facing and fitted with stainless steel appliances, a granite countertop, and an integrated gas line. Drainage lines and electrical conduit were installed under the patio to keep everything concealed and functional. Final details included topsoil restoration, new plantings, and lighting to finish off the space cleanly and make it ready for year-round use.
