Tommy Pollina Landscape Co. Inc. completed a full backyard transformation in Park Ridge, starting with a custom Unilock stone walkway and evolving into a complete garden overhaul featuring more than 30 plant varieties. The once overgrown space is now filled with vibrant color and texture from Junipers, Karl Foerster grasses, Rozanne Geraniums, Queen Nectarine Anise Hyssop, and a wide mix of ornamental grasses like Sporobolus heterolepis and Deschampsia ‘Goldtau’. Long-blooming favorites such as Salvia ‘Caradonna’, Allium Millennium, and Veronica ‘Wizard of Ahhs’ add continuous interest, while groundcovers, coneflowers, hostas, and hyssops enrich the landscape. Over 130 plants were installed, all tied together with rich hardwood mulch and a thoughtful design that creates a lush, peaceful, and uniquely inviting outdoor space.
We have completed this property overhaul for a home in Barrington, and the results speak for themselves! This project was a true start-to-finish transformation, turning an overgrown, outdated yard into a clean, green, and beautifully functional landscape.
