Core Aeration
Lawn aeration, also known as core aeration, is the process of mechanically removing plugs of soil from the lawn which allows water and fertilizers to have better access to the root system. Lawn aerating also loosens compacted soil which helps the lawn’s roots to grow. When the lawn receives more oxygen and nutrients through lawn aeration, the root system matures to produce a more beautiful lawn. Tommy Pollina Landscape recommends core aeration for the maximum health of your lawn. Lawn aeration/core aeration should be done at least once a year.
